Us Americans became to spoiled and prideful. This sucked the life out
of our economy. We have all learned the lesson that oftentimes pride
precedes a fall. The bragger is more often disrespected than feared.
While we were bragging the rest of the world was working hard to build
better. America's 26th President said it best. "Speak softly and carry a
big stick." The constant drumb beat of "we are number one" cannot
replace hard work and the dedication to fair competition and building
the best that we can. Tired and Expired Tariffs, buying foreign cars,
sex, and products has transferred our wealth and jobs to Countries that
have become our bankers and pawn shops. The unavoidable international
economy forced labor rates to seek their own level worldwide just like
water and money seeks it's own level. The buyers right to seek better
made products at a better price has forced America to either shift to a
lower gear and pull the weight of competition or slide into a second
class country status. Drum beats and chants will no longer cut it. The
misguided idea that America is number one, and Americans are better than
the other people of the world is offensive to the rest of the world and
has outworn it's welcome. We are better than that. America cannot be
the land of equal opportunity for business & success if we fail to
stand for equality. Equality mandates that we must be fair to others as
we want them to be fair to us. Charity begins at home however. We must
be fair to ourselves by facing the facts. Now is the time to Buy USA and
rebuild America through hard work and fair competition. Build it and
they will come. Build it better and they will buy it. You can start
